RheinEnergieStadion Cologne
The sporting heart of the cathedral city beats in Cologne’s RheinEnergieStadion: it is here that 1. FC Köln plays out its Bundesliga matches, with 50,000 going wild for the “billy goats”. On the 21st of July 2004 the Europe house of the rock and pop history opened near the Dutch border, in the Westphalian city Gronau, his gates. The museum tells the cultural history of the Popularmusik in the 20th century, supported by the most modern media technology. Wunderland Kalkar
Wunderland Kalkar arose from the former nuclear power plant „Schneller Brüter“, which was bought in 1995 by the dutchman Hennie van der Most. Neanderthal Museum
Where today one of the most popular and modern museums in Europe stands, 150 years ago the Neanderthals who gave the area its name were discovered. In the Düssel valley, w hich was enclosed in those days by steep cliffs, workers discovered bones whilst qua rrying for chalk. These were identified by Wuppertal teacher and naturalist Fuhlrott as the skeletal remains of an Ice Age person.

Städtische Museen Dortmund
The Dortmund museum scenery is varied. The subjects Beer and Steel which dominated Dortmund long are experienceable in the brewery museum and the Hoesch museum very closely. Nibelungenhalle, dragon's cave and reptile's zoo
The Nibelungenhalle with the dragon's cave reptile's and dragon's rock. In the Nibelungenhalle paintings are shown to Richard Wagner "ring of the Nibelungen", because after the legend Siegfried has killed here the dragon. In the dragon's cave lies a 13-m-long stone dragon. In the reptile's zoo we point, alligators, crocodiles, Warane, Leguane and snakes.
